Stereotypes

Stereotyped
The bottle of poison has spilled,
like a nuclear bomb exploded but is
going unnoticed.
The poison of stereotype
is polluting the minds of children,
they are not able to see
that the world isn't cruel
it is filled with happiness and glee.
But now the siren is loud and clear
love isn't only for our near and dear
but that is for us to decide and not the stereotype.

Equality & Justice  doesn't look at colour, age or gender,
thus they should be used as legal tender.
Children must be saved from this poison,
it must be washed away
before it will wash away equality and
set fire to the bank of justice.
So let's wash away injustice and stereotype
Or our future will be blackened by the malice of injustice
and they will not know equality
But the future is for us to decide not the stereotype.

Leave

Why can't you just leave ? Why do you take your time, I really won't grieve. Your presence is toxic, You make me feel sick You spoilt my Christmas Eve And new year too, Why can't you just leave? Why do you laugh shamelessly, When I tell you , that you live aimlessly. You still latch on to me And suck all the happiness away You've erased all my dreams and All the things I thought I could be. You threw away the keys. You thought making me a loser Would make you a winner. But it didn't make you any better. Why can't you just leave? Why do you wait for me to throw you away, And burn you ruthlessly. All you have showed me was how quickly you can dig your grave, Your one of those memories, I won't save By thelazywriter.

Hello! I'm still alive!!

Firstly, I am so sorry I haven't been posting for so oooh long. Almost a month. I was missing writing too. I just started school and I'm trying to get into the groove of the new grade, and tuitions. I've also been reading a lot throughout this long process. I started the Power of Five series and a few other misc Indian author books. I think we should appreciate Indian authors more. They connect with the audience like they're sitting in front of you. I even need some book suggestions so please comment your suggestions. I wanted to start on some new and exciting things, So enough of the blabbering let me get to the point!! A. Making new connections with people: I want to interview people, send them emails, to authors, important(but not soo important they won't answer my emails), to influential people, who are from India so I can know their success stories. And post them online. B. World environment day: Something related to the environment cos she totally dese...

Chapter#3

I woke up with a start when I felt the straps on my body. But this time Mark was beside me. He was telling me something as he hurriedly removed the belts strapped across my body. He was along with 3 others and Brian who walked away as he began to unbuckle the straps . Then, Mark and the others ran for the exit. I suddenly heard sirens. They looked back to see if i was following but my efforts to sit upright were in vain. The 3 others started bickering but all in whispers. A jolt of energy passed through me . I got up quietly , all the others staring, looking quite shocked. My head jerked in pain as I made efforts to move . I was in some loose white gown , the other were too except Mark. He was in his usual clothes, And something was quite obviously not happening according to plan. The sirens grew louder and fear and impatience filled the room. I tried to walk but I fell onto the cold floor and this alarmed the 3. Mark wrapped me in a tonne of sheets and they all pulled me . ...
