Why is the world fine with Racism and Theocracy,
What happened to the strong pillars of democracy?
Darkness and fear has spread,
People living with misunderstandings, hatred and disbelief
With absolutely no grief.
Yet the silence roars on around the world .
Ignorance and selfishness rules
With the killing and darkness giving us clues that this shall go on no longer .
But I'm afraid that they have forgotten
that our world has gone terribly rotten .
Yet we sit amidst the crime and terror,
And our voice is lost to guns , and this is a terrible error.
But no one can see these crimes ,blinded by wealth and greed
Now they care about useless things like
Caste and creed .
Stooping down to such levels , even shame hides away
But the silence roars on bitterly in this world , why have we given it a place ?

I climbed onto my bunk and tried to sleep. I mostly stared out of the window and waited for the sun to rise. Every Sunday my brother has an off day so my brother, Mark and I go down to the mall so we don’t completely cut off...
